The sumptuous appearance, excellent safety records and brilliant performance of Hyundai cars make the brand loved by customers worldwide. Hyundai offers tough competition for other big car brands. The Hyundai Motor company has grown quickly over the last few years and has gone from strength to strength. Both car dealerships and private sellers welcome Hyundai vehicles, due to their increasing demand in the market. Current offerings include popular ranges priced between £10,000 and £20,000.
To make their business even more profitable, the company is now working on several strategies to grow in Europe and to encourage strong sales figures in 2015. The company’s target of achieving 5% market share in the European Market by 2020 will be made much easier with the introduction of other strategies, such as new product launches and continuous quality improvements across their existing models.
Hyundai’s primary focus is to work on operations specifically aimed at improving customer experience and satisfaction for the end user. In this current economic climate, where every business has been affected, customer retention is of optimum importance.
To further improve their operations, the company invested more than £500 million last year, in Europe. It also opened two new facilities in Germany: the headquarters of Hyundai Motorsport and a new test centre close to the Nurburgring track.
Hyundai is committed to an annual production capacity of up to 500,000 vehicles across Europe. Further expansions include the building of headquarters in Frankfurt and a production facility in Turkey for Hyundai’s New Generation i10.
Such careful strategies are bringing Hyundai enormous cost-reduction benefits. For example, building, designing, developing and selling 90% to 95% of Hyundai’s vehicles at the same place will save the company a lot of extra delivery and human-resource costs.
